Today, the dreaming finally stopped and the actual work began. I kicked off the project by bringing the bike over to a mechanic who has become a good friend of mine over the years, which made starting this journey even better. The very first order of business on the modification list was upgrading the lighting, swapping out the stock setup for a cleaner, modern look. Seeing those new lights on the frame immediately changed the bike’s attitude, and even though we’re just getting started, it felt incredible to finally take that first step toward making this cafe racer a reality.
