The wait is finally over because the new classic seat for my motorcycle build just arrived today. Since it looked like a pretty straightforward swap, I decided to tackle the installation myself instead of heading back to the shop. Luckily, it turned out to be a quick and easy job, and getting it bolted onto the frame by myself felt like a great little milestone for this project.
Seeing the new seat on the bike instantly changed everything, and I’m so happy with how it gives the motorcycle a much better stance and attitude already. It’s a huge confidence booster to see the vision in my head start to take physical shape right in front of me.
Even with this win, I know I still have a long way to go before I even hit the “semi-build” stage I’m aiming for. There are plenty more parts to source and work to be done, but seeing today’s progress makes the journey ahead worth it.
