My girlfriend and I started our day together by attending church, taking some quiet time to reflect and pray together. Afterward, we headed over to a cozy local cafe to grab a bite to eat. We ordered our absolute favorite coffee drinks and comfort food, just enjoying the familiar routine and the chance to sit down and talk.
While the date was incredibly nice, it carried a bit of a bittersweet feeling. This was our last chance to see each other for a while, as she is about to head back to Tuguegarao to resume her studies. Because of that, we really tried to cherish every minute of the afternoon, making the most of the quiet moments before the distance separates us again.
Saying goodbye is never easy, but spending those final few hours laughing over coffee was the perfect way to wrap up our time together. Now, it’s back to the daily grind for both of us, but I’m holding onto today’s memories until she’s back.
